Broadcast Support Engineer (Dutch speaking)
Are you a Dutch speaker who is working in the broadcast industry with a technical aptitude and a keen interest in working in broadcast engineering? If so, we have an incredible opportunity to join a leading broadcast services company based in the Netherlands as a Broadcast Support Engineer on an initial 12-month contract, with the opportunity for a permanent contract thereafter. As Broadcast Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to broadcast playout systems. Your duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring reliability and availability of systems, working with new technical solutions and escalating problems when required. You will work on site when providing 2nd line support to external clients and playout operations to ensure that incidents and disruptions have been resolved whilst following the applicable guidelines and SLA's. The management of technical system documentation and ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently and correctly is also a key aspect to this role. To be considered for this role, our client is looking for candidates who are proactive, passionate about technology and are keen learners with a technical mindset. It is key that you have a technical knowledge of video and audio systems and ideally knowledge of playout. Those with a more operational background in a live broadcast or playout environment who is looking to move into engineering will definitely be considered. It is essential that you have fluent English and Dutch language skills. Please be aware that this role involves working shifts including evenings and weekends and therefore a flexible work approach is required.
