Senior Solution Architect - Broadcast Media Technology
A Senior Solution Architect is required for a leading broadcast media technology solutions provider to architect and design complex and large broadcast media IT infrastructure projects. The Solution Architect will act as TDA (technical design authority) from bid/proposal stage through to delivery and test phases working closely with bid managers, project managers and test managers. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding and solutions design experience across broadcast media systems and workflows – from MAM (media asset management) / PAM, playout automation to news production solutions. architect will also have good knowledge of IT infrastructure from networking and security, to datacentres and cloud solutions. This role will be split between home, office and occasional travel to sites both in the UK and in Europe. The preferred candidate should be a strong communicator, have client-facing experience to deal with senior key stakeholders and be able to give presentations to a high professional level. Ideally educated to degree level in computer science, technology or related engineering with broadcast industry training and/or IT accreditations.

Senior/ Team Lead Application Support Technician
We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for multiple Senior Application Support Technicians and Team Leaders to join a brand-new team at a market-leading digital sports content provider based in West Yorkshire. Playing an integral part of the Application Support team, you will be required to ensure that the company’s platform is available at all times and will be responsible for first line IT support to inbound customer incidents in a 24/7 environment. Your duties will include incident logging, providing service availability, continuous service improvements, troubleshooting first line IT issues and escalating when required. You must be able to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely manner, following service level agreements and working to key performance indicators. You will also carry out technical monitoring of the company’s market leading OTT platform, including covering global, high profile live events. Alongside your day-to-day duties, you will also act as escalation point in the team and assist with mentoring and supporting the less experienced team members. Team Leaders will also be responsible for assisting the Head of the department in building a global streaming support function and will include line managing a team of Application Support Technicians. You will create processes and procedures to optimize the support function and will carry out appraisals and performance reviews with team members. To join as a Team Leader, you must have experience in leading a technical support team. To be considered, it is key that you can demonstrate experience in providing first line application support for external web/mobile or Cloud based applications. Any exposure to video streaming, OTT or cloud platforms, ideally AWS would be highly advantageous. Good working knowledge of web technologies, monitoring tools and service management ticketing tools is essential. Any experience in a fast-past live broadcast environment would be highly advantageous and you must be able to work well under pressure. Broadcast Communications Technician
A leading sports broadcasting company is currently looking to recruit a Broadcast Communications Technician to join their onsite team. The role will be working as part of a close-knit team attending events around the world to install, commission, test and operate timing data and communication systems. The role will see you responsible for verifying the correct function of all timing data equipment and testing and terminating co-axial cable and multi-core twisted pair data cable used for loop and decoder communications. To be considered for this role it is imperative that applicants have proven experience of working within a team and building good working relationships with colleagues. Technical experience of fault-finding electrical/electronic wiring and CAN-based systems is important as is previous experience of working within a hands-on role that has involved the installation, rigging and commissioning of equipment. In addition, you will be able to read, interpret and work to wiring diagrams and technical drawings and be knowledgeable in basic IT skills with demonstrable experience of IP addressing and TCP/IP communications. This position would suit someone working in an electronics or network IT environment or similar with experience of outside broadcasting being highly advantageous. Sales Engineer - Lighting Systems - Entertainment/Theatre
A dynamic and motivated Lighting professional is required for a market leading lighting control technology company - specialising in entertainment staging lighting. The lighting systems are designed, installed and deployed globally within film making, theatres, concerts, and stadium events. The Lighting Technician / Lighting Systems Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing technical proposals, sales plans, attending exhibitions and conferences globally, and developing relationships with customers and key distributors. The Lighting Technician will be trained to become a Lighting Systems product specialist and be able to demonstrate with sales presentations and assist distributors and customers with technical and commercial queries. Ideally technically educated, preferably in engineering, lighting design or a related technical theatre, broadcast or entertainment degree, and a strong communicator to present products both in customer meetings and at exhibitions to groups. The Lighting Sales Engineer wiill also be given the opportunity to travel on occasion across EMEA to meet customers and attend industry exhibitions. A base salary is on offer of £23-24k pa, plus commission - with realistic year one on-target-earnings of £30k+ pa.
