BVE 2012
Christy Media Solutions are looking forward to BVE 2012, at Earls Court in London, from 14-16 February.
We are sponsoring the Information Point again this year and will also be exhibiting at stand i-36, if you would like to come along and have a chat about either your company’s recruitment needs, your own career plans or simply to catch up or arrange a meeting for a later date.
BVE is one of the largest broadcast industry shows in the UK and more than 300 companies will be attending, so it’s an ideal place to find out what is happening in the industry as well as an amazing opportunity to network with your industry peers. BVE North
The very first BVE North proved a busy two days and it was nice to see so many of you!
Christy Media Solutions sponsored the Information Point at the show and our staff enjoyed chatting to familiar faces who sought us out and new contacts who wanted to know more about us.
Once Christmas is over, we will be looking forward to BVE 2012 in London and CABSAT and Satellite MENA in Dubai – we hope to see lots of you at these events next year!

Christy Media Solutions are proud sponsors of this year’s BVE North show, the North’s largest event for broadcast, video and audio professionals. The show opens on 16 November at Manchester Central and the organisers have informed us that the seminar programme is complete and over 90 exhibitors have now confirmed their attendance. The trend for pre-registration continues as people register online to avoid the queues on arrival. You can join them by taking advantage of free pre-registration.

Streaming Media Competition Result
On Thursday we drew the winning name for our competition to win a ticket to the Streaming Media Conference and Expo.

The Media Festival 2011
The Media Festival, running from 15-17 November in Manchester, promises to be an exciting event.
Important decision makers and creative thinkers in the industry will be attending the conference for sessions with some of the most influential and innovative minds in broadcast and media today.
The Festival opens with an industry debate and party which is followed by two days of informative and interactive conference sessions. These will include industry keynotes, panel discussions, workshops and strategic networking . BVE North
IBC 2011 is barely over and we are already looking forward to the next industry event. A little closer to home this time, November 16 and 17 will find us in Manchester, attending the popular BVE North. We are supporting the show as sponsors, and a representative from Christy Media Solutions will be available for meetings or informal chats throughout the two days. A regional extension of London’s Broadcast Video Expo, the launch of BVE North reflects the arrival of Media City in Salford Quays and the BBC’s partial relocation to the area. BVE North showcases products and services from animation and asset management to AV, cloud computing, DVD duplication, finance, IPTV, meta data, mobile TV, monitors, recordable media and much more. Industry buyers can save time and money, viewing the latest products under one roof and taking advantage of special show discounts, whilst updating their technical knowledge and connections.
BVE North also run a free seminar programme which aims to inspire, educate and inform. Three theatres will run each day covering: Production, Producers, Post, Broadcast Meets IT, Audio, Content Delivery and 3D. IBC 2011
IBC 2011 proved to be another successful show for Christy Media. Visitor numbers have increased again this year, with over 50,000 visitors to the RAI in Amsterdam.
The team took the opportunity to meet with many of our clients and discussed some exciting new ventures. We thoroughly explored the surrounding halls and stands, keen to find out what is new and in the pipeline in the industry.
IBC is an excellent place to network with existing contacts and make new ones. We talked with many potential candidates from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds and are looking forward to working with lots of them in the coming year. We also enjoyed catching up with our contractors and people we have successfully placed in new roles.
As we begin to plan next year’s IBC and follow up our meetings at this one, we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our stand and we hope to catch up with you again soon.
